The East Bay Chapter of Amigos de las Americas is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Training Director for the 2007-2008 Training Year. This position provides an amazing opportunity to work with youth, families, and community organizations. It has a monthly stipend of 800 dollars.
We are looking for someone who has recently served on project staff and has some teaching or training experience. The candidate must be fluent in Spanish, have a strong commitment to diversity within AMIGOS and be comfortable working with a diverse group of youth, as well as have experience with issues around asset-based community development, cultural sensitivity and teambuilding. There is a one-year commitment and the opportunity to continue on as Training Director in upcoming years. People of color are especially encouraged to apply.
