    Arbor Day Activity in Houston

The AMIGOS International Office is getting together a group of volunteers for 2008 Arbor Day: To Plant an Urban Forest. This is the first of many service events the AMIGOS Green Team will plan. In addition to making efforts to contribute to a 'greener' workplace through paper reduction and car pooling, AMIGOS staff also want to demonstrate our support for the environment with our service. Below is the information if you would like to join us for the event!

Re: Arbor Day Activity in Houston

Several IO Staff members participated in Arbor Day this year.  We woke up early on a chilly saturday morning to plant some trees along North Shephard.  We had a great time getting dirty and hanging out with other Houstonians who joined in on the effort.  I will soon post some pictures so you can see Tara White, Matt Closter, Kristen Highum, and Aamir Alavi in action!

    Go green team!
