We thought you'd like to know about a great event that will take place in Philadelphia on July 15 -- the kickoff of a national campaign to increase the number of Americans involved in international volunteering. AMIGOS is a member of the Building Bridges Coalition which is spearheading a variety of global volunteering efforts, along with many other highly respected groups like Cross-Cultural Solutions & World Teach. The goal is simple -- double the number of Americans that volunteer overseas and in doing so, enhance understanding between countries & cultures and deepen volunteers' perspectives about the world.
It will be a fun & inspiring event we think you'll enjoy!
